Pinoso (Spanish: [piˈnoso]) or El Pinós (Valencian: [eɫ piˈnos]) is a traditional town which sits located at some 56 km from Alicante. It used to be an agricultural town, wine being the main product of the area. Recently it has experienced a growth in tourism: since the coast line has virtually no more room for new residentials, these are moving inland into the province.
